I cannot thank everyone enough! My car went into emergency transmission mode and wouldn’t start in my 2019 VW Tiguan. I was 44 miles from home (on a Saturday) had to cross 6 lanes of busy US Highway 301 traffic with 3 minors because we were stranded AND the car had to be towed. I reached out to the dealership because I usually take my car there. To my surprise the dealership’s service department did not help me. Instead they kept trying to pressure me into getting a diagnostic done on the car because they believed it was the alternator.
I searched for an import shop on Florida Ave and Heights Import was the 1st listing. When I tell you, I knew I was in the right place because from the 1st interaction with Theresa, I felt confident that they would be able to help me. During the initial call, Theresa went through several things that it could possibly be so that I didn’t have to bring the car in. She offered me more help than the service department at the dealership and I was grateful. Ultimately, the car still needed to be towed to the shop and it was diagnosed quickly. Turns out the shift selector bushing cracked in half.
They ordered the parts that day and my car was ready the very next day. The pricing is fair and they keep you informed throughout the entire process. The car drives really good and after everything is all said and done, I’ll continue to let Heights Import do the maintenance or any additional work that needs to be done. Thank you all again for helping and my family get back on the road.

They were great… Theresa Was very knowledgeable. I was looking at buying an older mini Cooper and live about four hours away, so I needed a reliable shop near the Car dealership, to do PPI, and I am so glad I picked height automotive, they were quick, they were thorough, Included pictures with their evaluation… And allowed me to make a decision quickly and avoid a mistake, that would’ve cost me $2500. I have had an issue with my Land Rover Evoque for over a year, no matter where I took it. Everyone had a theory, but no one had any clue what to do or how to fix it.
Out of desperation, I went on Yelp and found Heights Auto … not only did they have an understanding of what I was talking about upon explaining the issue, they told me to come in right away and… Yes, I know it’s unusual but within 24 hours they had fixed the problem.

We experienced a problem with our 2013 Volkswagen Passat and initially took it to Auto Works. There were several issues along the way, and it took about a month to reach a resolution. After speaking with the owner, Bob Noriega, the vehicle was transferred to Heights Auto Imports, where the problem was successfully diagnosed and repaired.

I took my Range Rover in to have the AC compressor and brakes replaced and they did a great job! Teresa was awesome – very trustworthy and transparent about the root-cause for the AC issue and the different options for me to consider. I finally have the AC working again after taking my car to several other places prior without a clear path to a solution. I’ve taken my 1998 Mercedes to HAI for the past 7 or so months, on and off. German cars are never cheap to fix, but I love Teresa and her team. From my initial phone call with Teresa to picking up the car after service, the entire process was seamless. Teresa is truly about her business; she’s professional and very transparent about exactly what your vehicle needs. Kyle, who worked on my Audi, was incredibly professional and friendly. He honestly has the car driving like it’s brand new!

I had my AC compressor replaced on my 2017 Audi A4 Quattro at Heights Imports on North Florida Avenue in Tampa. The repair was completed and my AC is now blowing ice cold again with no issues so far. Teresa at the front desk was outstanding—very helpful, professional, and personable throughout the entire process. She consistently answered my calls, clearly explained each step of the repair, and was transparent about pricing, which made everything easy to understand and far less stressful. I have a 2020 AMG GLC43 with 20k miles … The brake light came on ..So I took a chance on HEIGHTS AUTO IMPORTS and met Teresa.. I was sick of Land Rover dealers creating more problems than just fixing the ones the HSE was brought in for.
I knew I was not alone with this experience and sought out an independent import vehicle service center and found a great one in my Tampa, FL area, Heights Auto Imports.
Teresa Brown is the first person you make contact with and if you didn’t know any better you would think she was a certified import mechanic herself. She did a complete computer analysis specific to my 2012 Land Rover Range Rover HSE checking all the control modules monitoring the body, drivetrain, and braking system for active trouble codes.
I was having misfires that my original mechanic, after I had him install new sparkplugs and coils, still couldn’t determine why it continued.
The Heights Auto Imports Land Rover mechanic had no problem discovering that a fuel injector was leaking and the #8 cylinder was misfiring from a bad injector. They had an estimate within 2 hours of me bringing it in and they guarantee the work for three years!
I seen a lot of cars worth a heck of a lot more valuable than mine, so if they trust Heights Auto Imports with their cars I knew I could trust them to be fair and thorough in what ever repairs and service I needed to enjoy my car for many more years.

Teresa and Ray truly are in the business for helping the customer! They not only diagnosed the issue with my car quickly, but they thoroughly explained what was going on with my car and addressed the issue within 1-2 days.
